The Adventure Has Begun

First D&D Draw & Play session took place Friday Oct 2. WOW! What fun. Everyone designed a character from one of the 9 races our Dungeon Master (Lead Artist Betsy) suggested. We did quick draws and figured out our abilities, then off on an adventure. New players were amazed to find that the experienced wizard among us had spells! Wait, what? Looking forward to learning more about that. With or without advanced attributes, we successfully rescued a dog.  Pretty good for our first adventure.  We did such a good job that we got congratulations from an Orc! And there’s more to come.  More character design and more adventure game play.  New players, experienced players, all are welcome. Next adventure: Friday, Oct 9 at 5 pm. Meeting ID/password and direct link are both on the JLI calendar.

Colored Ink Finale 3/30/2020

What’s really important is to stay well, so we continue to stay at home.  A little independent exercise for mind, body, spirit and creativity is a reasonable approach, and we want to help.  Here’s Betsy’s tour-d-force finale for those playing with colored ballpoint pens.  Watch for more plans for future fun in the April Monthly Planet, coming Wednesday to a screen near you.
